Aims and objectives
This is the 11th in a series of successful international conferences organized by the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland Chapter of the IEEE Systems, Man and Cybernetics Society with the theme of Cybernetic Intelligent Systems. The goal of CIS2012 is to bring together international experts and researchers from different disciplines to present new research findings, to discuss the state of the art and to provide perspective work with respect to the conference scope.

The program committee solicits high quality papers, from researchers, practitioners and students, containing original contributions in all areas of experimental, theoretical and application-oriented aspects of cybernetic intelligent systems. This includes papers but not limited in the following areas Soft Computing, which includes Fuzzy Systems, Neuro-Fuzzy Systems, Neural Network, Genetic Algorithms, Evolutionary Computation Systems; Adaptive Computing Systems; Hybrid Systems; DNA Computing Systems; Knowledge and Agent Based Systems; Information Retrieval Systems; Intelligent Systems and Intelligent Transportation Systems; Manufacturing and Robotic Systems; Machine Vision, Image Processing and Computer Vision; Systems Safety and Security; Human-Computer Interaction
